OK, I'm in Maine so I don't worry much about AC, and I have an '01 wagon, so it would not surprise me if the AC system is not firing all cylinders (to mix a metaphor). But the AC clearly could not handle today's 95F heat and high humidity. Granted, the car sat in the sun in a parking lot baking, and I only drove about 15 minutes, but the AC did nothing. The air blowing at the start of the ride was hot, by the end barely lukewarm. It was set on auto. I was sweating in the car.
I almost never drive in weather like this, but it seems to me this is not right. I will call the dealer (whom I trust) and see if they think an inspection or maintenance makes sense. But in the meantime I'd appreciate any thoughts from this most knowledgeable Board. TIA
