The my 2002 manual aero was towed to the closest dealer. They informed me that the problem was fixed. They said it was a minor linkage clip that was either loosly put on or forgotten during assembly,... great. While they contend the problem is fixed, i saw substantial black smoke with an acrid smell. I actually think damage might have been done to the clutch. I/m not an auto expert so I could benefit from others in this terrific forum. I'm just a driving enthusiast who has dealt with a 9000 lemon for 8 yrs prior to this. any other advice how to proceed w/ my dealer and saabusa is also welcomed. Thus far saabusa read me chapter and verse regarding my options to research my state's lemon law, not too satisfying given my unlucky history with saab.. but the cars (when functioning) are sublime.

Thanks again for reading my rantings.
