Guys (and gals),

I'm set on a new Aero, but had a few questions that have been plaguing me for quite a while. ANY answers would be much appreciated.

1. I've always thought the side skirts of the Aero a tad bit cheap and tacky looking (boy-racer, "rice rocket," etc.) . . . I'm planning on removing the sideskirts, but is there a way to replace the lower rear "spoiler" piece with that of the Linear/Arc (non-body colored) EVEN with the Aero's visable tailpipe, and the Linear/Arc's non-visible pipe? Is that lower "spoiler" trim piece seperate from the rear bumper or integrated? And would one need to replace the entire exhaust pipe? Hope that makes sense.

2. Has anyone ever seen a 9-5 with body color painted exterior door pulls? Is it doable? (I'm not worried about scratches, so much as whether the paint would actually adhere to the plastic.) I'm thinking of a black exterior and would like as much of a monochromatic look as is possibleIs?

3. Does anyone happen to know first hand how the instrument panel would look without the "metal look" trim? In other words, does the European spec Linear "grey" dashboard look cheap? I'm thinking about whether to remove the "metal" in favor of the more "natural" monochromatic look.

4. I absolutely ADORE the low end torque available in my current '99 I-6 . . . will I get similar feel from the new four banger (the manual specifically), or is greater low-end lag simply the price of losing .7 liters?

5. Has anyone replaced the stock 17 inch wheels with 18 inchers? Is the ride acceptable? Specifically, does anyone know about 18 inch Speedline Superturismo wheels (and do they have a grey finish look available)?

Thanks guys . . . again, any thoughts would be a great help.
