coolant bypass deletion follow-up question--lengthy

Finally got everything back together this weekend on my new 2000 lpt wagon. Replaced spark plugs and filters, installed rebuilt (BBA) abs module and performed the coolant bypass deletion with non-North America heater hoses from a site sponsor. Since I had to wait several weeks from start to finish (parts, day job, wife, etc.) my memory got sort of foggy from the time I took it apart to reassembly. When I removed the coolant bypass valve, I disconnected (a) the main electrical connector with lots of wires in it that is on the firewall; (b) an electrical device with vacuum hose connections just underneath that; and (c) another electrical thingy with vacuum hoses. On reassembly I reconnected both electrical devices but bypassed all of the vacuum hoses. I rerouted the vacuum hose that goes to the turbo bypass directly to a nipple on the intake manifold and capped a now-unused vacuum nipple on a tree that rises out of the intake. Car runs fine (except for a stumble at start-up--don't think this is related as it did that before I began) but I am concerned that maybe I should have reconnected one of the electrical/vacuum devices. What do you guys think? Thanks!!
