Sorry I don't have an answer, but our '05 has required 2 headlamp replacements in 15 months of ownership. My parents' '01 (when they owned it) would burn out roughly 1 headlamp per year, and I attributed it to the DRLs actually being low-beam headlights at full power. So long as the interval stays at roughly 1 a year, I don't find it that annoying...and it may be safer to have the bright DRLs.
