Vacuum line question here (and a/c) Posted by vvack0matic [Email] (#1443) [Profile/Gallery] (more from vvack0matic) on Sat, 11 Sep 2010 15:52:55 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
for starters i was told the a/c had nothing to do with the vacuum lines and would work regardless if there was a vacuum leak or not. so it had me believe the blend door was broken or the door that separates outside air and inside air had a problem, so it had me driving with less than comfortable driving. the a/c cooled enough to not have me sweat but definitely not cold. so today i had thought to rip out all the vacuum lines and replace them. they were very dry rotted and one had a hole question here, the picture: is this the correct routing for this line.
in my disgust of how bad the lines were i didn't realise of how impatient i had gotten and ripped off both lines to the secondary air valve.. after it happened i thought, ((ooops))
after replacing all the lines i hopped in and started on my way, and low and behold after replacing virtually every vacuum line the a/c is now freezing insomuch my tongue stuck to the soda can i was drinking out of.
so I'm asking what and were was the problem to fix the a/c.
thanks
