My headlights' case of the dingies (say it with a soft "g") has been progressing lately. Just a yellow haze in the top 3 inches or so of the lenses. I've certainly seen worse. So I grabbed an $8 kit at WalMart made by Turtle Wax. It came with polishing compound, spray lubricant, some sand paper pads of different grits, and a sealer. The first time I did it I didn't use the coarse pad enough so I had to do it over. It feels like an eternity of rubbing. But it looks SWEET!! We'll see how long it lasts. I'm happy.
