Maybe someone out there has seen something similar?

It's an 05 with a hard code ESP-C0196 but the sensor seems to be working.
Could this be yet another fail scenario of an ABS/ESP brake module?

One anomaly when looking at Yaw rate signal is that my Tech 2 scanner gets graded in +-1 for the whole screen so when test driving the car, the live signal bounces between max upper and lower values making the Tech 2 beep.
The live data numbers down at the left/lower corner of Tech 2 screen however is displaying what seems to be correct data.

Standing still and driving straight forward show 0. Turning back and forth while driving show about +- 10-15 and driving around in circles with full steering input creates about +-60.

I have tested 3 other cars, an 02, 03 and 04 and they show very similar values EXCEPT, on all of them, the Tech 2 screen gets graded in +-139 which means the plotted live data line is calmer wandering up and down over the screen instead of jumping up and down to Max when the screen is graded +-1.

At a price tag of close to $1000.00 for the part and after what WIS say having to remove shifter box to get to it, I'm hesitant to dig down there if in fact it turns out to be an ABS module instead (which would be even more money).

Any of you Saabtechs have an input? I heard that the 9440 model have problems with Yaw rate sensor but not the 9600.
