Keep in mind that certain of the cargo boxes will have more than one set of mounting holes drilled in the bottom of the box where they would be mounted to the roof bars. I have an ARC box made by Dynamic Design which has this feature. What you would have to do is to measure the distance (on any given box) from the rear most set of mounting holes (on the bottom of the box)to the rear of the cargo box. You would then compare this distance to the distance from the rear most set of roof bar mounting points on your 9-5 (the mounting points are a pair of holes drilled into the side of the roof near the rear door; you need to pull down the door's upper weatherstripping to find these holes)to the edge of the rear hatch door. If the distance from your 9-5's rear most roof bar mounting points to the rear hatch door is greater than the distance from the rear most set of mounting holes on the cargo box, you should not have a problem with being able to fully open the rear hatch door.
