O-ring should be 9138009. Check eEuroparts under "Engine Mechanical."
You can also buy the whole pickup tube and screen for $36. I didn't know you could buy that part and sat there for an hour with a sewing needle poking each little hole in the screen to push the grit out on my friend's 2000 Gary Fisher. Even then it wasn't perfect... Had I known you could buy a new one I would have recommended that. But if you're doing this job on the '04 your user name suggests, I doubt you'll find much (if any) sludge.
