John,
Thank you for your recent posting!
Although certain fault codes may be generated after replacement of a turbocharger, any oil saturation caused, by the original failed turbocharger, may take time to work through the exhaust system.
Many of our independent shops will take the car for a "spirited" test drive (highway driving at full load to seek higher engine rpm and engine temp.) to rid the exhaust from any oil saturation. In nearly every case, these cars will eventually show no fault code after oil is purged from the exhaust system/CC.
Thanks again and please do not hesitate to contact us with any questions.
Sincerely,
Gary S. Konow at SWEDISH DYNAMICS,INC
