Clearing a misfire code for cyl #4 I don't think would matter in starting or not so that might have been a coincident.
Slow cranking is more of a problem on 2002 and up. It seems that they changed the starter on those and it cranks over with less peppiness than the 01 and older.
It could also be a marginal battery cable making the starter receive less amperage than what it needs. We start to see more and more bad battery cables now.
This 02 battery cable was enough to make it crank very slow.
A bad battery cable will also hinder the alternator from charging the battery fully due to voltage drop in the cable.
But the stalling problem I would look at the crank sensor and make sure it is ok.
When car doesn't start, disconnect harness and blue connector and measure resistance over pin 1-2 and see if you have around 1000 Ohm or less. If open circuit or readings in several kilo Ohm or more, the sensor is bad.
