I have both. 2001 stick aero and a 2003 auto. My wife uses the auto mostly and commutes on a lot of freeway she prefers the auto now, but drove the stick 100,000 of the now 154,000 miles on the stick 2001.
Clutch is nice. Shifting is really good, but I think the plastic ball type bushing they use in the shifter is a bit sloppy. I am getting a genuine Saab [Taliafaro] shorter improved shifter soon. still running the original clutch with no problems.
Auto really works well. A good solid computer shifted auto.
