I just got a 9-5 wagon for my wife, and I currently have a new Passat wagon for myself. The Saab is comfortable and quiet but is missing a few things that should be standard for the price. My passat was about $8000 cheaper, even with the huge incentives on the saab, and has auto up windows and homelink. What's up with not having a cord connecting the gas cap to the car either? Also the Saab touts safety but then places the battery in the front of the vehicle where it will most likely be destroyed in a serious accident preventing onstar from functioning. My VW has the battery behind the engine where it is much likely to survive a serious accident. BMW actually puts them in the trunk. The saab should have a 6 disc in dash changer standard for a car with a $38K sticker.
I like my Saab don't get me wrong, but if Saab ever wants to sell cars at sticker it needs to add every feature available on BMWs, Audis, etc in the price range, and then sell the car for less since Saab just does have the name recognition that the other european brands have.
