Never liked the idea of putting something on top a perfectly good paint job. according to everything I've ever read its just a heavy layer of wax. And forget about collecting on any paint warrenty. Someone once told me about those old rust proof warrenties, if you made a claim, after fighting your way through the maze, the company would pro rate the cost of repairs, deducting for the value of this or that and wind up sending you a check for 42 bucks, to apply to the cost of repairs.
As far as extended auto warrenties go, the only one I ever bought was for my 99 9-5 se, which I bought used from Saab. It was included in the used car certification. Stay with the Saab warrenty, why buy something your not gonna use until 4 years from now, if that company is even still around then. If you really want one, wait until the saab warrenty runs out and buy an extende warrenty then. You can find them on the net.
