What model year? Auto or manual trans? It isn't too hard to check the check vacuum integrity with a hand vacuum pump. Check valves could be your cheapest/easiest item to fix. All new vacuum tubing w. two check valves for MY 2000 to ?? automatic trans cars is $41 from eEuroparts, and the simpler one for manuals is cheaper. I know this because I just did the testing to confirm that my brake booster was bad and that there were no other vacuum leaks.
