20 MPG or less

My 2002 Linear with 125K original miles with an auto box is getting less than 20 MPG combine. It doesn't matter what I do, it does best at 20 MPG according to the SID unit. I even tried doing the math manually, I'm still get the same result. I do live in the colder climate, so our gas has the "winter" blend in it as I was told. I switched between known gas station or locally owned, and I'm still get the same result.
I run preferred plugs NGK and gapped at .035. I also run full strength Techron Injector cleaner as well. I only use regular unleaded gas majority of the time. The tires are inflated as recommended. I do not smell any odor like the rotten eggs smell. it doesn't leak any oil, but it does use about 1/2 quart between an oil change, which is about 5K miles. I always used full synthetic either 0w40 or 5w40 grade oil. I don't believe the brakes are dragging.
So, my conclusion, the car is getting old and I probably need to buy a newer car.
Do you my conclusion is correct or ???
Thanks,
C.C.
