In the end I went with the new rotors.
No wondering that way. Appreciate the answers very much. This board is great.
Trouble is though that the thing is still in bits.
My T-45 broke and was unable to find another alternative (Sears, Harbor Freight, Home Depot, etc.) that was short enough to fit in between the caliper bolt/pin and the spring (suspension). They all left no room to turn the thing and all the rigged-up ideas I had wouldn't give enough leverage in the small area. Getting them off was no problem while my initial t-45 worked, but the refit was the problem.
So the damn thing beat me.
I am out for a SHORT torx-45 tomorrow.
In another car.
But thanks again for the input.
Man, those caliper bolts were stiff too.
