I want to remove some old vacuum hoses that are starting to rot. I pulled up on one but it felt like I was going to rip it in half instead of removing the hose from the end.
Specifically I am talking about the hose that goes from a T intersection of vacuum lines behind the engine (this is the V6) to the top of a cylinder shaped thing that has a thick hose going into it...this piece is right at the front of the car. I looked on my still as yet unregistered '03 Aero and it has a different item in the same place.
If pulling off breaks it, should I then simply remove the sticky old rubber with a sharp blade?
