When the decontenting of the cornering lamp first ocurred in 2002(?) owners reported that the wiring harness had not changed. Adding the socket and lamp to the new style housing resulted is active cornering lamps!
How long did the wiring harness remain unchanged? h How long did the BCM software remain unchanged?
It may work, or it may not. The 2003+ style foglamp housings can be mocified with a dremel tool to accept the cornering lamp socket (I did this when I purchased the wrong unit by mistake). The sockets are relatively inexpensive. The BCM software can likely be revised it necessary. It might be worth the experimentation, as long as you realize there is no guarantee.
