That's not a bad choice. But everything I hear is that it's the same, if not quieter than stock. It's nice that it's direct fit though; just bolt it on.
I just had my center resonator removed from my '04 Aero just for fun. With a straight pipe and then stock rear muffler... it sounds SWEET. You can barely tell any difference in the car (no droning on the highway or anything) but out of the car it sounds downright mean. I had my friend stomp on it for me in an open parking lot while I stood off to the side and watched/listened. I wish I took video.
I found a good custom shop in CT that I like. While some people like the bolt-on idea, if I were in your shoes I would just go pick a Magnaflow muffler for the rear, weld in a straight pipe to the cat, and weld on the factory tip. I hate stupid looking aftermarket tips. Just an option.
