First it demonstrates that you need to charge or replace the battery. Don't EVER fault trace electrical problems with a questionable battery. You would be in for a heap of trouble since you never know when the fuel computer or any other computer decides to. No, I'm not playing this game anymore because the voltage is too low.
So what I understand now is that you do have voltage back at the pump and it is in fact the pump being bad, right?
I only install the complete pump assembly since I don't have time or trust picking the plastic cage apart and jerry rig a hose with hose clamps when only replacing the pump motor but it is others that do it that way to save money.
You have both genuine, Walbro and Scantech complete pump assemblies to pick from. I would stay away from Scantech unless the price is right for you.
