If you are "only" replacing the harmonic balancer you are good to go removing the multiple bolts (20 Nm) holding it but if you are going to replace the front engine seal you are in trouble if you don't have the special counter holding tool and the big E20 Torx socket and a long breaker bar.
The center bolt is torqued to hell and back (250 Nm + 45°)and it is really no use trying without the bolt-on bracket tool after you have removed the harmonic balancer.
