Hi All - i like many of you am having rear tire wear and alignment issues due to what i believe to be rear spring sag on my 9-5 aero sedan. So looking at the suspension component replacement options being discussed. Wondering if anyone has gone from stock aero sedan springs to Eibach lowering springs. They claim 30mm/1.19" lower ride height but do not indicate if it is reference from a stock 9-5 or Aero height. With all the issues people have with the rear springs sagging and all the associated cupping & alignment issues; I'm wondering if lowering springs are even a good idea since correct ride height seems to critical as a starting point to achieve proper alignment specs and to avoid proper tire wear.
So any idea if eibach springs provide a lower ride height than stock aero spring specs? If yes, by how much?
Any issues with camber/castor/toe that needed to be addressed? If yes, please describe.
What struts did you couple with the springs?
Were any other pieces of hardware or componentry necessary to include besides the springs and struts to acheive proper alignment and to avoid improper tire wear?
Lastly - how would you describe the ride quality difference between stock aero springs and eibach springs?
I know all of us are beating this issue to death, but didnt see too much on the eibachs. Thanks guys
