Saab USA most certainly reads the boards.
A month or so back I attempted to use the personal calling feature of the OnStar unit in my '01 Aero and had problems with accessing the cellular network with it. Within 24 hours of posting here I got an email from the person at Saab USA that handles OnStar issues. In addition to my OnStar questions I was also able to get another question answered that was totally unrelated to the problem, that being finding a source for high-current 12v in the back of the car for a 2-way radio (amateur radio) installation.
My challenge was forwarded to real, live people at OnStar who kept on the case, called me back regularly to check on the status of my problem and ultimately resolved the problem completely, even giving me extra airtime and extending the period of personal calling service for the hassle. I even got a call at home from the OnStar rep who worked with me on this two nights ago to follow up.
The feedback from us rabid Saab enthusiasts improves the cars and ultimately Saab's future prospects.
