With the T-7, stick with a 89deg unit. Using the lower temp unit will greatly reduce your fuel mileage. If your seeing higher engine temps, check to be sure both radiator fans are working properly. If one is inop, will run right about the same range you describe. If one is inop, check for 12v at the fan lead first. Have replaced far more relays/fuses than fans.
