So you are one of those that instead of using the shut down command of your PC you are always pulling the power cord out of the wall outlet because it is absolutely no chance that pulling the power cord will damage your PC, ever.
You can probably get away with it many times but for every time you do it, the chances are that you create glitches here and there in the files.
Check on the 9-3 board how many that have killed their ICM by jump starting their car the wrong way creating voltage spikes.
Some cars are sturdier than others but it is bad to do it the way you suggest.
