For the record, yes you can pry it off easily using a 5 in 1 glazing knife. There is the sharp point edge to such a 'knife' and if you put that in the gap, the wheel logo will come out easily. You can then clean the inside area and put the new logo on the wheel. Remember to keep the little metal ring on the plastic part of the logo; it wasn't clear if that was just there for shipping the part or not. But the old one had it still on there (a bit rusty however). So it takes about 1 minute to get it done!!! Better than removing the wheel.
