There are some UV protectant cleaner spray products, that seem to restore color, but there is not enough body to restore dry rubber. I tried that then Lexol.

Clean the mats with a floor cleaner and stiff bristle floor brush, then repeat with wheel cleaner. Dry. Mix Lexol and water 1:5 and apply with a small sponge or scrap of terry cloth. Wring out the applicator and remove excess so damp dry, you do not want excess in corners of crevices. Now put out in full sun on a hot driveway to dry. When dry, wipe again with applicator that is mostly wrung out and apply to the hot rubber. It will flash dry in seconds. Apply or reapply until rubber seems evenly treated. Wear areas will need more. This hot wipe and flash dry method avoids pooling the product in the corners.

Result: The rubber feels alive, like new. Color depth is improved, but the base rubber may have age/turned brown, unavoidable. The result is not slippery. For the wagon rear cargo mat, the surface is more grippy [like new] and things will not slid around so easily, compared to the dried out state.

When rubber is compounded, oils and waxes are added. These affect the surface and actually act in part as a mold release. These can dry out or be absorbed by dirt. There are similarities to leather. I expect that the surface treatment will be drawn into the rubber and repeat applications may be needed, as when restoring dried out leather.

Treated the leather seating as well. With the perforated leather, spray the Lexol onto you hands and rub in, so not spray onto perf leather directly.
