I think Saab will allow you to transfer the lease to an approved third party for a fee of $495. That leaves you to find a suitable person to assume the payments and take over the car. You can also try to sell the car for cash and pay off the lease, but you are not likely to be able to sell for enough to cover. If you try to trade back to the dealer or return the car to Saab, it will probably cost a ton of out of pocket cash.

My advice is to find out if the lease is transferable and if so, advetise the car here in the Saab Network classified section. If you offer to pay the transfer fee and your lease payment is in a competitive range, you are likely to find interested parties. Remember, even if you have to sweeten the deal by offering to make a couple of months payments, you will be better off than making 20+ months of payments on a car you don't need!
