wagon springs on a sedan. which ones? or bad idea? Posted by bobc [Email] ![]() ![]() ![]() |
'01 Aero sedan, I am in the process of replacing the suspension front and rear. As part of this overhaul I am considering replacing the rear springs with Wagon springs (with the intention of moving to a stronger spring). eeuroparts lists two springs for an '01 Aero Wagon.
My suspension code for the rear spring is DE, and for an Aero Wagon eeuroparts lists these two:
5062401 (code DM,DA)
or
5062435 (code DG, DB)
What is the difference between these two? Which one should I use for my sedan? or is this a bad idea? My assumption that the ride height will be the same or very close (new wagon vs new sedan spring)
Note that I used spacers n my other Aero to restore it's ride height. that is fine ... just looking at other option.
thanks!
