hi guys, so the ac in my aero actually works fine. all functions work, fan blows, can switch between vents and defog, temp control and fan speed no prob. But beyond 1 bar, this faint whining noise comes on. As i use my up and down arrows from 1 bar to 2, i can hear the noise start with a little vibration. It doesnt change when i switch from face vents, foot vents, both, defog, recirc, economny - all same condition. It's not coming from the AC compressor or the belt. It sounds like its coming from in the dash somewhere, almost louder lower in the dash. When i stick me head in the drivers footwell area and put my ear up against the center part of the dash its loudest - almost the same on the pass side. if i put my ear against a vent and run the fan with the engine off, i can hear it as well. i cant tell if its the blower motor just sending vibrations through the dash. I am getting ready open up the housing and get at the blower motor to see if there is any leaves or something in there but not sure if thats what it is. It sounds almost like a baffle or tab of some sort is vibrating and when it goes to 2 bars, there is just enough airflow to start vibrating it. Maybe a shaft is bad on the blower motor? The noise is freakin annoying as heck!!!! anybody had this issue and figure it out?
