Car in question, 2000 9-5, V6, 150000 miles.
Bought the car couple months back. Replaced steering, tires, brakes, rear suspension, all front rubber bushings, timing belt and water pump, belt, hoses, water valve, full and complete service (all filters, plugs etc). In essence rebuilt the car.
Problem came up, Po300. I checked and replaced fuel pump and regulator, (pressure low), DIC units with Saab parts. Also replaced O2 sensor, checked and repaired small vacuum leaks, coolant sensor, replaced rubber vacuum hoses.
Car runs great on highway, gets 28mpg at 80 mph. Car idles like a tractor, sets Po300 code. Heck, I seafoamed the car, cleaned the MAF, nothing changes.
I have followed WIS testing as best as possible.
I really like the car, but its turning into too much bother. If I sell I figure I will lose $2000 and never look at another Saab again. Please, and suggestions? Would a shop with a Tech2 figure it out fast, or just suck more $?
