From my experience the larger diameter Moog drop link did not change anything in real feel of handling. The force for the links is vertical, which pulls/pushes on the swaybar. The swaybar is the piece that really gets torqued and twisted and would control vehicle stability and sway. Id imagine the tension and compression forces on the OE sized links is probably well within spec of minimal stretch/compression if any at all.
I went with Moog because they are the only serviceable/greaseable links offered out of the box. This would be the only "stupid" design Id put against Saab. However their factory sealed units tend to last quite a while.
Installing Koni FSD shocks, new factory springs, SAS swaybars, poly bushings and clutch components next week on my '01 Aero Wagon. Imagine the larger swaybars will help quite a bit.
