I just did my rear shocks (Bilstein HD) and new OEM coil springs. The new springs raised the car about a half inch (10 mm). I'm about 15 mm too low now instead of 25 mm. The spacers stated by 2Saabs would be a perfect addition. You'll need to take the rear struts out of the car and compress the springs to add the collars but you DO NOT have to take off the top nut that many here find so difficult to remove. If you're going to add new coil springs too, then yes, you need to remove that evil nut and completely disassemble the strut.
BTW I had no problem with the SECOND top nut I did. Use a stiff wire wheel on a typical 3/8 inch corded drill to remove all the rust scale from the threads above the nut, then chase the threads with a 10 mm x 1.5 die, then soak the nut with PBlaster or Kroil penetrant. I had no problems when I did that - I learned those tricks from others on this board.
After I reassembled my rear struts I sprayed that nut and exposed threads with battery-post preservative-spray and then put a plastic cap over the top of the shock rod where the hex key fits to keep out road salt. I bought a kit of plastic caps and the preservative at a local Advance / AutoZone type store.
