On a 2001 9-5, the only two modules that can be updated with new software is the Trionic ECU and ACC module. Not until 2002 did it become possible to update the TCM as well.
And on the 9-3 Sport Sedan it is more modules than I care to list that can be updated.
But using the regular Saab system, you can only do it one way and ones unless in later years a newer software update comes along.
So you can't go back and forth.
The ACC has had 2 software updates, I think, for a 2001 after it was built and the same goes for the Trionic.
