Assuming there is spring "sag" (aka permanent deformation), the real solution is better springs.
Spring design 101 final exam question: given the requirements of spring rate, dead load, rest height, and maximum deflection, design as spring to meet those requirements without exceeding the elastic limit of the spring material.
Industrial management 101 final exam question: given a spring design by an engineer, how much can you lower the cost of the spring while enabling 95% of them to last to the end of the warranty period without generating a warranty claim.
It's not rocket science.
