yes, your good advice led me down that path. they seem to work well + sag less under load. I used new oem wagon springs since they weren't that expensive anyway + less effort to obtain (but recognize used would be fine)...
my current ride heights with 16" steel wheels are 23.3" front and back. That's a bit low (supposed to be 23.8")... something has settled out since the install, as the rear ride height was originally too high (see link)! It's only been a little over 1000 miles (loaded down for more than 50% of that). I'm keeping an eye on it though, and most of the change was immediate (first week) + I think it's reaching an asymptote... will see...
one nice thing about the konis is I can add 2cm without even taking the shocks off the car because I'm on the low perch. If the sagging continues, I might do that. for now, I'm pretty happy with the height... there is no evidence of abnormal tire wear... my saab-specialist indy did the alignment + shoots for closer to zero camber. actually, it sounds like for most cars, the main thing is getting the alignment done right - sounds like he rarely does much else (bushings, spacers, springs, or even shocks)... even on his own wagon, which he loads + has no problems... so I'm basically going to go with what I've got, keep an eye on ride height + tire wear...
great car!
