For I4 engines only. Re-torque sequence is posted by Genuine SAAB. Used MI-Roger's suggestion to check all bolts for minimum torque (tightening) before starting - then used his suggestion of remove, replace, torque-to-#1, move to next bolt until all ten are done to #1, then all ten in sequence to #2 torque. Swedecar pointed out that new bolts have luricant applied, so don't add extra. That was over a month ago, and all seems well.
The pictures that I used for reference may not be exactly what you are looking for, but a post on 'Let's roll in a timing chain' has useful pics. They give some nice views of the head and cam cover - and the cam cover chain guide that might keep your chain quiet longer. The serious SAAB maintenance UK website has a nice series of photos on complete engine rebuild.
