OnDemand probably assumes that you know exactly what you are doing before you attempt the repair. I think mine took about an hour, but I took two hours cleaning it and reassembling for a total of three and I stopped to take all those pictures as well at every step. The cost was only about $10 (got a LARGE tube of dielectric grease and the screws were cheap), but I suppose it could become a problem at any time again. If I get just two or three years on the clean and reinstall, I'll be happy.
