It is a royal pain to replace lower radiator hose on a V6 and it is a multitude of other hoses connected at the same aluminum hose connector bolted to engine block.
I usually install an old fashioned ABA clamp at the engine side instead of the spring loaded clamp which can be difficult to get in there since it is very cramped quarter.
Up there at the same location is the engine oil cooler cover and if that one is leaking, it will be coolant right around where the radiator hose is attached.
But since you had a shop do the job, let them deal with it.
