My 2002 Arc wagon came standard with ESP. Compared with 16 years experience in a 1986 9000T, I can tell you the traction control is quite helpful starting out on slick surfaces. (The 9000 has a very low first gear, so that didn't help off the line traction either.) The new car handles beautifully in winter conditions. If the yaw sensor etc ever did cut in, I was not aware of it. How much is ESP as an option?
