I strongly doubt Mobil does not have an appropriate oil for the 2011 4-cylinder engine in their Mobil-1 range of products. However, it is likely they have no oil that was specifically recommended or authorized by Saab for use in these engines. Even though the engines were made by GM the factory authorization would have needed to be issued by Saab.

To my knowledge the Dexos-1 and Dexos-2 labels are marketing labels rather than an indicator of a specific formulation or additive package. Some of the first brands on the Dexos band wagon were fringe players at best (doesn't Turkey Hill make Ice Tea rather than motor oil?).

With the multitude of recent oil specifications issued by auto manufacturers it does make it easier for the D-I-Y owner if they only need to look for a big Dexos-1 banner on the front of the bottle rather than reading all the fine print on the back. And I am confident there is some laboratory testing involved to earn the right to place the banner on the bottle - as well as cash flowing to GM.

The 2.0 engine in the NG 9-5 is a higher HP version of the 2.0 engine in the 9-3 family. If I owned one of the NG 9-5s I would feel very confident using any oil meeting GM-LL-025-B or Dexos-2 requirements. The light diesel rating would offer more of a safety margin for the higher HP in the NG 9-5 engines, even if the LL-025-A or Dexos-1 oils are adequate.
