I broke my rigid plastic brake booster line last Summer when installing the MacKay hose set on my old 9-5. I was able to glue the old one together using automotive grade RTV.
For step #1 I bought some rigid fuel line that was a tight fit over the broken plastic line, hose clamps, and a plastic PCV valve with the right sized end fittings (basically a check-valve) to fit the stiff rubber fuel line.
Step #2 was to glue the broken line together with the RTV as I needed the broken piece when I went to the parts store to get the stiff hose.
Third step was to order a new brake booster line which arrived a week or two later. The RTV continued to hold firm so I never had to jury-rig the line with my make-do pieces
