BCPR6ES or BCPR7ES is the the copper core equivalent of the platinum plugs that came standard with your Aero. Back in the day, they were the plug installed on the LPT versions of the 9-5, and those cars had no worse experience with DICs than those fitted with the platinum plug. The only issue is the heat range - the most commonly used copper core plug is the cooler BCPR7ES, and especially when the engine is modified for more power. Saab has tended to use the 6s more in the US where poking along in traffic is more common and carbon fouling is more a problem than in most European countries where fuel costs, urban density, and ample public transportation make commuting to work in a car less common.
