Hi,
I have been using M1 0W-40 exclusively on my '02 Aero Wagon but it is only available in the 1 qt containers (~$6.50). I was just at WMT and saw they have a new M1 10W-40 High Mileage in the 5qt container (~$26). According to its specs it meets ACEA A3/B3, etc. I just picked up an '06 9-3 Aero w/ the V6 tha requires the ACEA A3/B3 spec. I used to wait for the M1 sales and buy 1-2 cases of 0W-40, but now with the 2nd car it'll take many more cases. Anyone start using the M1 10W-40? I know the low temp viscosity is quite thicker and this may be an issue for me living in MN, but I know the 9-3 motor heats up really quick as does the 9-3.
Here are the specs from their website:
Mobil 1 High Mileage 10W-40 meets or exceeds the requirements of:
ACEA A3/B3, A3/B4
API SN, SM, SL
Mobil 1 High Mileage 10W-40 is of the following quality level:
API CF
Thanks,
Wil
