As others pointed out, in a Saab, the key must be in the "Run" position to get power to the cigar lighter sockets (aka "Accessory Power Outlets"). And to toot the horn, too.
Drives me nuts in my 9-5 as I have an iPod/iPhone adapter that needs power, and shuts off with the ignition, so I can't continue to listen as I gather my stuff without all the idiot lights on the MIU glowing...
I really should do something about that...Where are my cutters???
