I corrected my right/left error some time ago.... Posted by MI-Roger [Email] ![]() ![]() In Reply to: Tsk, tsk; but left / right is as you sit in the car NM, AeroBaron, Wed, 8 Aug 2012 12:28:29 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
Hey, we all make mistakes occasionally - right?
Upper RIGHT Engine Mount Torque Values for a 2003 V6:
- Mount to Fender and Bracket to Engine, all bolts receive 35 ft-lbs of torque
- Nut on Center Bolt of mount also receives 35 ft-lbs
The removal instructions for this mount also say to remove the nut to top bolt on the rear mount. Torque value when replaicng this nut is also 35 ft-lbs.
These are from my 2011 WIS (selecting a 2003 model with V6) and I am a little surprised to see the same torque value for all nuts. Maybe someone with an older WIS will know if this was always the case.
