Hello all. My 04 aero sedan is wearing the front tires on inner and outer edges so badly that there are actually pieces of the tread coming off in a way that it looks as if the tires are being chewed up by rubbing against something. There is nothing that the tires are rubbing against and this wear only applies to the front tires as rears look fine. Tires are stock size Michelin pilot sport a/s with about 75% of tread left. Just replaced front control arm rear bushings and rest of front suspension components look good, except for the struts which have not been removed for inspection. Bought car with 110k on it and has about 114k presently. As far as I know the struts/shocks are all original. My indy thinks that the struts are bad but has recommended me to an alignment specialist that he says is excellent with Saabs to check for alignment issues first. Any advice is greatly appreciated and thanks in advance.
