finally ordered my rear trailing arm and cross stay hub bushings and should arrive today. I have a press although this will be my first time trying to use it (wish me luck). I know I will need to find sockets or pipe sleeves to get them in/out. I plan on removing the entire trailing arms.
Wondering if it hurts anything to use red or lithium grease or liquid soap or detergent or something on the metal surfaces of the new bushings while pressing them back in? or bad idea since now introduced something between the metal sleeve and the control arm mount?
I also figured I would chill the new bushings in the freezer a few hours to reduce their size a little before pressing in.
